King Nu is a fashion designer who was born and raised in Washington D.C. He studied fashion design at The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), where he received his Associate’s and Bachelor’s Degrees. Designing isn’t just his career or hobby, it’s HIS LIFE! King Nu’s work fully represents who he is as a person, a STRONG, BLACK, QUEER INDIVIDUAL! He wants people to wear his clothes, designs, looks and know they are and feel CONFIDENT, POWERFUL, PRESENT, AND THEY MATTER; like they belong and can CONQUER ANYTHING that comes their way. He is a TRUE AND LIVING EXAMPLE OF HIS BRAND AND THE MOTTO; BE LOUD, CRAZY, GLAMOROUS, and most of all BE YOUR MOST EXTRA-SELF! 

A little background on King Nu. He comes from a prestige dance background that he constantly inserts into his work. He has always known he wanted to be a fashion designer, but he also knew he wanted to also be a professional dancer and a supermodel. So for him and his life, he’s intertwined all 3 of those to be the diva that He is today. King Nu’s inspiration and imagination pull from everything to music videos, movies, art, history, life itself, and all of his own personal experiences. 

To him Fashion is just a big time capsule that tells our past, is our present, and shapes our future.
